Hit up Lake Chelan this morning early with my son. The water was like glass and the sun was shining enough that we had to put on sun screen prior to 8:00 am. We had four rods running off the back of the boat, two on the riggers and two running weighted long lines. We used several different types of standard Kokanee gear and weren’t able to pull even so much as a nibble. There were probably 40 boats in the area of Rocky point and we only saw one net fly but he lost the fish just prior to getting the net underneath the fish. We fished hard from 6:00 am until 9:00 am and just couldn't stand the idea of getting skunked so we pulled the boat out and headed for Roses Lake. (Report to follow)
