Riffe is hot! I went out there Saturday with Dennis and we knocked em' dead. He caught a smallmouth that weighed 4lbs and was 17in. long. We caught numerous others but that was the biggest. We also hooked into some slabs of crappie. They were huge. Only two silvers were caught by me up in the river. We caught all of our fish in the late morning on small crappie jigs and ultra lights. Those smallmouth can take you for a ride using little UL's and 4lb test. they hit on small plastic orange craws and chart/pepper crappie tubes. I will probably be going back this weekend to catch some more.
