Hit the water at 0645, finally left @ 0930, took longer that my brother & I wanted, but we got our limits. Counted only 7 boats when we finally launched. Trolled using Wedding Rings, (Green & Red) and Needlefish, (Green & Perch?) Had plenty of hits, just could not bring them in!! Size ranged from about 10" - 13". Put powerbait and micro maggots on lures. Small slip sinker (1/8) with about 18"-24" leader is our standard. Bonus for me was seeing my great-grandfather's barn at North Centennial Trail Trailhead and was granted "Washington Heritage Barn". Felt privileged and honored to see this,...

So do you mean that your great-grandfather's barn was deemed an historical site? Something that people can hike to or something?
That is pretty cool. Glad to see you break out of the urban lake routine, and catch some fish as well. If you were right there at McMurray, you were oh/so close to Lake Cavanaugh. Should check it out sometime. A great Kokanee lake.
