I'm going to call this a post-spawn pattern. I think the pike are still recovering, and some warm, stable weather would do them good. The small jacks are getting after it, though, with lots of short strikes and misses from fish with mouths too small or inefficient feeding styles. Things will get better. The warmest water I saw was 62 with most of the main bodies of water in the 55 degree range. Storms chased us off the water twice. A warming trend is coming, and that should help. Biggest fish was 25.5 inches. She was post spawn and had nothing in her belly.
