I tried some fishing at the Mosseyrock Dam fishing area, off of Highway 12. It was sunny and overcast later. There was some wind blowing out towards the lake. The fishing calendar rated it a poor day. The water level was filled up to capacity. I got there at 5:30 in the afternoon. There were about 7 other people fishing there.

I caught two silvers (land-locked Coho.) There were not a lot of bites until around sunset. They were jumping quite a bit. I was using shrimp or worms for bait, about 6 feet down. The worms were working a lot better for me than the shrimp, but I was getting bites on both.

Thanks !! For your your report!! Today! Saturday 8th! A fish n buddy in his smokercraft took me fishn the evening bite a Lake stevens for Kokanee aprox 10 bites between us one lil plant and one perch threw both bath had to rebait alot windy and alot of jet boats etc overcast! Getting up early Sunday and heading to the fishing bridge and Mossy Rock Dam so really enjoyed your report did better than I today!! we used maggots corn and worms at Stevens! FISH ON!! TY!!
