My brother in law and I decided to carry the boat out to Lake Bryant this afternoon after we gave sixteen a shot earlier in the day . We got on the lake around 5:45 and started out throwing spinner baits. With all the weeds I switched over to a Texas rigged weightless senko. In just a few minutes I had the first fish of the day on, a decent little bass that wrapped me up in some branches and took off. A half hour later I slipped my lure in to a spot that just looked right. After it sank I gave it one twitch and BAM, fish on. 15" 4 pound LMB. My biggest one so far. I ended up landing one more pounder and Allen hook a little bluegill on a worm and bobber. All in all a great day of fishing

Good report fished Bryant several times and usually catch fish. FYI 15" though isn't 4lbs 15" is less then 2lbs. Biggest largemouth I have caught was 19" long by 7" wide and only 4lbs. Top water works well there too either Rappalas or hula poppers.
