On the water around 8am with muskyhunter. Within minutes mh found a large musky giving interest in a bucktail but no hookup. Started working rock points and I ended up catching this 44x19 tiger on a Ducktail Lures Weed Warrior Spinnerbait. Trailer hooks are your friend,as I was reminded with this musky and having a buddy quick with the Frabill pays huge dividends. Worked a few other points and mh had a very nice tiger hit a Musky Innovations Bull Dawg but hanging on to the back end/tail,missing the treble hook. We both managed to catch a few decent smallmouth bass while looking for tigers. Got to love and respect the fight in the bronzies. All fish released.Water temps peaked at 74.

I realize I sound like a broken record in my reports and maybe even annoying but I must emphasize the WDFW rule in regards to tiger musky. Proper education has come a long ways from when I first got started in this fishery but still an uphill climb to inform fellow anglers/general public.

50 inch rule minimum-any musky under 50 inches MUST be released.

Good luck out there and fish on!

I saw you fellas working from the boat launch south. Could tell you were fishing Muskie by the humongous lures you were throwing. I was the little bassboat just north of the boat launch.

By the way, though I do not care to bring one of those toothy monsters in my boat, that is one fine looking fish! Congrats!
