I was wondering when I saw you in the pontoon, if you were fishing more for Kokanee, or if you had downriggers on that thing for Macks?
So, sounds like you were jigging for Macks off the bottom?

10/9/2013 6:36:00 PMNo downrigger, probably too heavy but people mount all kind of things on pontoons and trolling could wear you out. Just position over the top of a lake trout on the bottom and drop the jig in the transducer cone and watch the fishes reacttion to the jig. Usually, the fish rise to meet jig but that day the fish only moved a few feet down not up on the jig.
