This was the second time I've ever gone fishing at Cottage Lake. The first time I caught 1 less of the limit (the limit is 5). This time I knew exactly what they were biting. I cast using a 1 once egg weight and then a 3ft leader to a size ten hook with two chartreuse power eggs. I have the bait in the water for 2 minutes and WHAM, I've got a 10 in. trout. Nothing to be too happy about size wise, but then I catch 4 more within the next 15 minutes. I end up leaving with five because that's the limit. But I caught 11 trout the biggest one being about 1 1/2 and 14 inches long, which must have been one that was stocked the year before. I can't wait to get back out to the lake and catch some dinner.
