Launched my 12' boat at 10:30 am and trolled with pop gear and a night crawler the length of the lake two times with only one hit which didn't stay hooked. Every other fisherman I talked too said it has been really slow.
The 3 guys fishing off the dock at the launch only had one 14 inch holdover Rainbow. The lake has not been planted yet this year. They said it wasn't scheduled to be planted until the middle of May, which is later then normal years. I have done really well here in the past using the same rig. The water temp. on my fish finder said 51 degrees. The finder marked virtually no fish. I will try it again in a month. I quit fishing about 1:00 pm.
