Got to the lake at about noon, a few people were scattered around. One guy coming off the lake said that the fishing was slow. I figured I would try anyway. Headed along the east side to the north and caught a decent sized perch....but it took a while. Went farther north, trolling a worm and hooked a nice trout on the way. He was barely hooked in the lip, so I set him free to be caught by someone else. Got a few good strikes at the north end, but nothing to the boat. Headed back south, fighting the rain and wind. The lake had all but cleared out by this time. Tried my luck at the south end and landed another decent perch. After a few hours in all, getting wet and cold, I decided to head in. Cooked up the perch for dinner! Tasty!
