Went to Meridian today and launched about 10 AM. Went to my fav sppot on the lake (Northwest portion) and started trolling. Was using a Jack Llyod flasher with a rubber snubber then a wedding ring baited with small piece of night crawler and a single piece of white shoepeg corn.Wasn't using DR so had a 3 oz banana weight on and went out 25 to 30 pulls so I fugure i was right around 20' deep. Got my first bite around 10:30 and hauled in a nice 13" koke. after setting back in 10 mins later had another on and brought in a 12" koke. Fishing was slow for about an hour then hauled in a 10" rainbow using the same bait. Last fish was the 11" koke as I was trolling into the launch.
Trolling speed was just under 1 MPH using the gps. By the time I was getting ready to go the wakeboarders and tubers were sloshing up the lake pretty good. Would have stayed for the last one but did not want to fight the wakes anymore.
These fish were larger than any of the others I have caught in this lake so far this year (this was my 3rd trip) . Limited out both times earler but the fish were the normal size (8 to 10 inches)

Now just need to figure out American Lake for a change of scenery, been skunked both times out using the same setup as I did on Meridain.

I have been out there the past 4 times and caught nothing. Thanks for the report. Gives me hope that there are still kokes in there.
