We arrived at Depression approximately 10:00 a.m. The morning of 6-5-14. Launched our pontoon boats and commenced to having a wonderful time. Using a green woolly Bugger as our assigned asssasin we bagged a limit in just over an hour. Sizes being 10"-12" and fat. Great eating!

I noticed that you listed your catch as Cutthroat Trout and Cutthroat is all that I have ever seen come out of this lake. (I have not fished it this year however)
But the WDFW planting report says they put over 14,000 Rainbows in Depression Lake in April and May of this year.
Where did all the Rainbows go? Or did WDFW misspeak? Hmmmmmm????
I have another mystery to ponder. Spell check says I misspelled misspeak. Spell check better spell check itself.

I've been there at least 4 times this year, and all the fish are rainbows. Not sure why they listed cutthroat. The planted rainbows are nice and fat. Fight hard, too.

I touched the wrong pick button. The fish caught were Rainbows.
