I launched around 11am-noon and watched small trout doing aerobatic jumps all over while I made my way to the point on the North-East side of the lake. I flat-line trolled a silver/gold Dick-Nite on my way there with no strikes. I wasn't really targeting trout, so I wasn't too disappointed that I didn't get any hits.

Fished with a Trout Magnet jig (no bobber, no additional weight) in gold sparkle, white and pink. Had equal luck on the white and the pink. No strikes on the sparkle, but it has produced in the past. Started on the West-facing bank with no luck, but once I moved around the point to the North-facing bank I found fish. The Crappie were in structure near the shore, usually about 10-15 deep. I picked up 3 decent Crappie and 2 small ones that went back in the water. Also caught a couple trout (one with the nasty parasitic lesions - Nanophyetus salmincola, yuck) and a freshwater sculpin that went back in the water.

I continued to fish over to the South-facing bank, switching to a spinner bait around the docks and lily pads, hoping to pick up some bass, but I couldn't connect with anything.

Good trip overall, including good views of Osprey catching trout, a Bald Eagle sitting in a tree above the lake and a blacktail doe hanging out at the launch ramp.
