Decided to take an early summer vacation and hit the Kittitas
County Ponds. On Wednesday
I arrived at Fiorito at 4pm and caught my limit by 5pm. The pond was planted
the day before and the
plants were already hungry. My Dad was there earlier in the day and had
caught his limit in 1/2
hour. The fish were hitting on all combinations of power bait.
On Thursday Dad and I began fishing around 9:30am and POPS limited by
11am. Catching my five was a struggle
but I finally limited at 1:30pm.
The Game Dept. needs to monitor this location as I saw at least 2 people
(non sportsman)
catch more than their 5. Another Fisherman told me the Game Warden in the
area is limited to 250 mile per week because
of their budget ( sounds fishy to me)..
