Fished Lake Washington today (Wednesday) from 9am to 2pm. Better trip than last weeks trip. This time at least I saw lots of bait balls and fish on the sonar today. Last week I saw practically nothing. Caught 3 rainbows. 2 were smaller than I like to keep them and let them go. The third was a baby and I didn’t even know he was on the line until I reeled in to get all the salad off of my downrigger and fishing line.

There is alot of weeds floating in the water. Fished the whole south edge of Mercer and across to the Cedar. Fished a Brads cut plug, wedding ring and rasticle, all of them both with and without a dodger. The rasticle caught my 3 fish today. No strikes on the others.

Normally I get tagged by a few sockeye around this time of year but nothing on this trip. Saw lots of them I believe down about 60 feet of so but no takers.

Overall is was a nice day on the water and when I got there at 9am there were only 3 truck/trailers in the whole parking lot. When I left it was about 1/3 full. It was just a nice day to be out on the water. Be safe out there! G

Thanks for the report gcban! I was out there Thursday and although I saw lots of fish around 35 feet we only caught one kokanee. A beautiful day on the water however!
