Me and two of my friends awoke at 5:00am and walked our inflatable raft to the lake. We launched on the south west corner of the lake and moved north staying clase to the west shore. It was my third cast into a pocket created by a rock wall that I had a good 13'' rainbow on my Mepps black fury spinner. We let him go and moved to different pockets catching two or so in each one until around 10:00am the bite just turned off. we then decided to try those same spots that were productive but switch to a bobber rig with a worm about three feet below the bobber. And that sure did work! We caught easily our trout limit with quite a few perch in the bunch as well.
