Arrived at the lake at 06:00 a.m., saw lots of Elk and Deer on the road into the lake. It was a great day for fishing, weather was good and the fish were biting. My partner landed 13 and lost another 6 at the boat. I landed 6 and lost three at the boat.. Most were 16" plus, all were real fighters. There were only two other boats on the lake. I can't understand why this beautiful lake gets such light fishing pressure.
If you do decide to fish here remember that gas engines are not allowed, you can not even have one on the boat, remember to have your monument pass, and please follow the rules for this lake. This is truly one of our only wild fish lakes.
