Hit the lake with my buddy at 8 am and fished till 1 pm. The water level was very low but the fish were biting in the morning. The big ones came in 10 to 25 feet of water. Lots of smaller fish too, most caught on DS and tubes.
Beautiful day on the water with no recreational boaters.

Did you launch or do you live on the lake. A post from the other day said the ramp was closed. Maybe it was a one day thing.

Bassman72 my buddy lives on the lake and I live a block off the lake and we launched my boat from Jenks park which is a private park.
I don't think the public is able to launch anymore this year.

I suppose if you can get it to the waters edge you should be good to go! The fishing is usually great this time of year in this lake.
I usually fish until mid November.

Dude. You are very privileged. I hope you get to keep going. The jerkbait bite gets hot for a couple weeks in the choke point areas of the lake at the end of this month. First time I've had to miss it in like 8 years. Bummed :( Catch a big-un for me and Ron :)
