Biggest problem is the wind...The fish are there and they are active.
There was a whole raft of flying ants and grasshoppers on the lake this
afternoon. As the wind would push this raft toward the shore...very
exciting fishing.
About 5 PM if you could find shelter in a cove.. the midges are coming
off and the cutthroats are hitting the Griffith gnat and small balck dry
flies. Always seem to stir up some activity with a caddis.
Netted 5 this afternoon and longline released a couple more.
Still will see the occational Hex come off... but the fish don't see to
key in on them any more.
