12/9/2014 8:28:00 AMNice catch even if that wasn't what you were looking for. I am always amazed at how late the spawn is on the coastal lakes. Ours in Eastern Washington have long since spawned as far as I know.

12/11/2014 8:27:00 AMNice, if the meat is a firm red it will eat very well. I like to cook mine in the oven on a cookie sheet with a cookie drying rack to suspend the fish above so the fish turns out with less oil. I sprinkle it with lemon pepper seasonings and a bunch of dark brown sugar over the filet with some hot spicy rub to boot, comes out moist and a nice sweet heat. Nice job again.
