The walleye bite was on today at Banks Lake. Caught numerous fish today ranging in size from 16-27 inches. Everything came on the new Mack's Lure SpinDrift Rig. This bait is far and away out fishing all other baits for me right now. The 9 keeper perch we kept today also came on the SpinDrift.

The walleye are in water depths of 35-50 feet and want a very slow presentation.

I have several openings during the next few weekends as I expect this fishery to continue strong.

Guided fishing for Walleye on Banks Lake, Moses Lake, Potholes Reservoir and Rufus Woods.
Smallmouth Bass and Largemouth Bass on Banks Lake, Moses Lake, and Potholes Reservoir.Trophy class Triploid Trout on Rufus Woods.Rainbow Trout on Lake Roosevelt and Banks Lake.

Thanks for the info taking a trip there soon. Do you know why they cut all the trees down at the south end park?

Yeah, they sure cut down a bunch of trees in the park. I think they are trying to clean it up a bit and many of the trees were losing a lot of big limbs during wind storms. From what I've heard they didn't want limbs falling on vehicles, campers, or people. So, safety reasons.
