My partner and I fished from 7 AM until just afternoon trolling olive wooley buggers with sinking line. There were tons of fish jumping early, literally almost right into the boat. I ended up catching 8 rainbows for the day and my partner caught about the same. They aren't big fish by any means, but not a bad day considering it should have been a cold, wet miserable day. The bite was sporadic, it would be quiet for 20 minutes then they would hit for about 10. This was my first time at this lake and the only advice I would give is to show up early as the parking lot and the first quarter mile of road leaving the area was packed with cars of people hiking in the area.
