So it's been very slim pickens on the lake as of late. Went out on Wednesday morning was out with the poles in the water at sunup. started marking tons of schools of fish right of the bat. Fished from 10ft to 50ft the only fish I got was at 15ft, about a 12 incher. the color that worked was green WR with a purple DN dodger trolling between 1.0 and 1.5. I switched colors every 20min or so, used all the different scents that I had in my arsenal and I only ended with one. I just got my new helix 5 DI-GPS hummingbird fish finder and was hoping for some better action in the water. There is tons of fish jumping all around all morning, not sure if there just waiting for the weather to heat up to turn on the bite. tried to get some perch at the end of my trip but I cant find those guys anywhere. If anyone knows a good spot for perch at this time of the year that would be great. going to hit the lake again this sunday, hope my luck improves. Fish on!

It's a very good fish finder for its price. It has all the bells and whistles that most top of the line finders have. Just make sure that you choose advanced settings, not normal settings because this opens up more options for you to play with. If you buy it and you have any questions just pm me. fish on!
