Four of us; two adults, an 11 year old and a 5 year old, fished Duck Lake all day. The 5 year old, my son, caught his first ever bass. It was 17.25 inches long, and weighed 2 pounds, 14 ounces, (golden rule weight). I was very proud of him! My partner caught one bass, and his son caught a limit. I also caught a limit of bass and two trout. All fish were released. The weather turned-off nice, but stayed windy all day. All but one bass were caught on crank baits, the other on a spinner bait. Most of the bass were in the 14 inch to 16 inch range. We also fished it the prior two weekends and had great success then also.
