Only saw 4 fish and they were trying to spawn....with water temps in this lake in the mid 60's I can't blame them! Ran most of the bank and fish the outside edge of most of the pads with not so much as a nibble. Grass isn't too bad here yet so that was nice and I think the eagles from Clear Lake have taken up residence here as they were very active!
This lake can be an amazing place to be when the fry balls are available, not so much for catching bass but for watching the lake erupt as the largemouth gorge themselves....you would never believe just how many big bass reside in this little lake until they are busting fry all around the lake making massive wakes! Give it a couple weeks, it's worth seeing!
