Did ok, again. :-)

Saw a 2 lber Largie on a bed yesterday so decided to try for it today. Took 45 minutes, and 4 lures, but finaly got the bugger so upset he grabbed it.

1) tube - he said "Ha, NO WAY DUDE!"

2) senko - he looked a couple times, even turned towards it a time or 2 watching it slide thru the bed. But NADDA.

3) dropshot worm - He looked a couple times, turned towards it, even seemed to move towards it, but NOPE.

4) sticko - slower fall than a senko, and I had it wacky rigged. Wiggled it thru the bed a couple times. Let it sit a couple times. He turned towards it a few times. Even seemed to look down at it and maybe try to pick it up. He finaly 'jumped' down at it and I GOT HIM!

Weighed 3.37. A bit Largier than I thought, but that is just fine. :-) He even jumped clear of the water twice.

Then on down the bank and got 1 little one on a crankbait, and then later another little one on a different crankbait.

Yup, I know him, and have watched that vid a dozen times. I don't tell others what lake another person fishes, as it's HIS secret, not for me to tell. :-)

Water temp warmed up a bit from this weekend. Saturday it was 53 and Sunday it was 54. Hopefully weather stays decent.

Sight fishing has absolutely nothing to do with the bait...color, size, shape, none of it matters. It's just about the amount of time someone is willing to spend casting to a bed, eventually they all "bite" and by bite I mean pick up the nuisance and move it away from their eggs. Good job on the crankbait bite though!
