WDFW did plant some larger fish in the lake from the river below. In the later part of the year if you go up the river you can see them spawning in the small creeks running into the main. They are fun to watch and there has been some guys that try to fish for them but not really sure what they are so no help to you there. This happened about five or six years ago.

Are you still launching out of kosmos launch and just heading to the main lake trolling? I love that lake but have never fished it from a boat, might need to come down for a day.

actually i launch from taidnapam (free launch and dont need discover pass)....its about 1/4 mile before the 108 bridge and then i head to the north corner and start trolling along the rock...found a nice little underwater bench and thats pretty much theyre cruising route ...if you want to come down sometime let me know...im usually trolling alone so i always have room......love trolling

Springers are trucked into the Lake - We got two last year - one each trip, a 6 pounder and an 8 pounder. Awesome Lake, I love this area of WA!
