Author, ex SF surgeon and cancer specialist, Larry Mulkerin came out and fished with me today. We each got to share stories about hard landings on drop zones and other semi-comedic military disasters. The bite at Colyar was good today, but the hook up rate wasn't. We still got plenty of fish and enjoyed probably the best weather day of the year.

Jeff's drift rigs baited with a piece of Pikeminnow trolled near the bottom at 1.2 mph once again got bit consistently. Fish were produced all the way from 210 feet deep out to 393 feet. As usual, the key is staying tight to the bottom without dragging. I should have taken a picture of the stump we hooked when i dragged the lure too long...
