5/29/2015 7:54:00 PMI appreciate your concern, however I am an experienced and informed angler with high ethics. I will lawfully fish however I please. That being said I rarely target beds, usually only bigger females.

6/1/2015 12:17:00 PMThere's nothing at all ethical about targeting big spawning females on their beds and I'm sure every true experienced and informed angler would agree. What is the differance between that and targeting a salmon or steelhead on their nest??

6/1/2015 12:40:00 PMFirst of all fishing for salmon on beds is illegal. Also their flesh is rotting and a slight difference could be smallmouth aren't an endangered species the last time I checked. Also smallmouth are considered the most resilient freshwater fish in North America.
