7/6/2015 12:09:00 PMIt's not fun getting up that early but it is necessary to avoid being swamped by all of the idiot water skiers. Also getting off the water by 1000 is a great way to beat the extreme heat we've been having for the last several weeks.

7/6/2015 1:32:00 PMYup. I made my first cast this morning at 3:19am. Caught 15 fish, nothing over 2lbs even, I weighed that one. Last cast was finished at 8am exactly.

7/8/2015 6:54:00 AMSounds like a nice outing. I used to fish Liberty quite a bit years ago and did well on the bass and even the walleyes. The skiers and jet skiers just take over the lake too early in the day for me. They seem to have a real curiosity for fishermen. When they see one, they just have to get within 15 feet of so to see what's going on.
