Sunny and warm, so I went out to see how well the down-riggers worked on the new boat. This is the fourth time out first two were breaking on the motors and third time seeing if the bow mount would pull the boat around ok. All three times I marked a lot of fish deep in the north end. I did jig a little on the third trip with no hits. So today was try the down-rigger day and I hit the north end 50 to 70 ft down in 80 to 90 FOW. I did not mark as many fish and did not get any hits. Fished a variety of flashers and lures with corn and scent. .7 to 1.2 mph. Fished form 1145 to 230.
