On the water at a few minutes to 5. Wind was really blowing. Across the lake and lines in the water by 5. Figured once the sun came up good the wind might stop. Well that didn't happen. Several fish popped it off the down rigger clips. I finally got one to the boat and netted. Was just a rough day. Hard to control the boat, fight fish on a rocking boat and keep the boat going at a speed the fish would hit. Lots of fish there. Just needed the wind to calm down. Drifting with the wind didn't work either. Boat just moved too fast. I picked the wrong day to run over and fish I guess. I'm so used to getting a tan fishing there. A tip for someone who has never fished there. Watch the wind forecast! I usually do, just didn't one time and well a day of vacation gone.
