Opening day of Coho on Lake Washington and not a nibble. Tried all the "right" stuff - hoochies, spoons, even wiggle warts. Varied, depths, nothing. Saw one catch make it into a boat all day.

Getting into the water, one boat coming out had some luck on a wiggle wart. Coming off the water, we learned from the person recording catches, that only two boats had reported a catch all day from that launch and other launches were reporting similar poor luck.

The weather was beautiful and we were out fishing - so, it was still a great day.

We were out there too, LadyLarkin. Similar observations to yours. No action for 4 hours then finally stumbled into a nice cutthroat, but skunked on coho.

Looks like some people caught and some did not. Too bad my little inflatable would probably not hold up to the current and such. So how long does the season go? I know I could look it up but asking. I wonder what the killer lure is that works?

Nets were in From Tuesday through Thursday noon so not many fish got by. Going back In Sunday at 8:00 am for five days. At least we get to fish. WDFW only opened Green after the Muckleshoot's had already netted for 3 days. When you think about it even though they are netting if the WDFW had their way we would have no season. Hmm is the government suppossed to represent the people?
