Finally ran up to kirkland area with my mom this morning, been following the reports for a while now... Skunked. Dodged in and out of the nets trying to troll. (they did great) 6 hours of targeting salmon. Then around noon we gave up and targeted the perch that we saved gps marks of all morning.... 53 nice sized keeper perch. some 12 inch plus too! Nice to go home with smiles on our faces!

Oddly most of these were caught in 55-60 fow. Many schools were suspended. Many schools were all over 10 inches, and the schools were hundreds of feet wide. surface to bottom.

The best perching was in strange/ multiple thermocline areas. Caught many right outside of the Bellevue launch also.
The bug eyed perch and his bug eyed cousin were caught as doubles on the same jig!.
