Based on hearing some good reports from this area, I tried Mission bar for the 1st time. We started at Tullalip and fished south with the tide along the 100' contour. We marked a lot of fish, but they weren't biting. As we started getting further out in the channel, I noticed the shakers were hitting more frequently. Just before tide change we saw a pod of what looked like gray whales, could here the spouts and see the flukes. Right at tide change we turned around, went out deeper and started seeing all these suspended readings at 108'. We finally got one 22" and had to leave just as the bite was coming on.

Went to Camanoe head for the 1st time. No more than 15 minutes after getting the lines in the water, got a nice hit. The fish managed to get himself wrapped around both downriggers, got him free and in the net. Nice 12 lbder and hit a blue green rattle plug. 15 minutes later, another big one hit, got wrapped around the downrigger, but this time I lost the net and had to reach down and grab him with my by hand, rite behind the gills. We got one more of these 12 lb'ers. All fish were caught in the afternoon, between tide changes. The other two hit the cop car coyote behind a flahser.
