Went out later Saturday morning out of Everett and was a bit spooked by the fog, so I put my line in the water just outside of Everett. Was surprised to see all the bait in the on the depth sounder, but just got a few shakers. Moved to just south of Mukilteo and fished to shipwreck. Lost one bigger fish that hit as my line went to the surface after releasing from the downrigger, but he came off. Lots more shakers, no bigger fish, so I moved to Possession and didn't get any bites. Was coming back, just before dusk and saw some interesting readings on the depth finder. Killed the motor and dropped my Pt Wilson dart and got a big hit. After a few nice runs, reeled up a huge sea bass, looked like 8lbs. Let him go and came in.
