My friend Blair and I went crabbing just off of Kayak Point SP. The almost 3 foot minus tide at 11 o' clock in the morning sure made crabbing
easy. We did not even need pots. Blair had his waders so he walked along the eel grass beds and fished out crabs with a net and tossed them
into the boat for me to sort out and separate. All of the males had loving embraces on all of the females. Love was in the air...uh, I mean in the water. Can't keep the smaller females. Took us no time to get both of our six crab limit of nice Dungeness
. We even managed to squeeze in a little bottom fishing for flounder too.
