My wife and I went out squidding tonight. One of the best nights in many years. When we first arrived, we were told it has been slow for the past few nights. We have not been out for over a week so figured it was time to go. I was optimistic when they said it was slow. we got there just after sun set and enjoyed the beautiful sunset. We set up our light and started jigging. Within two hours we had out limit. At one point, I had to be catching four squid a minute. Within ten seconds of hitting the water you had a squid. The best news is they were really good size. I was using blue, green, and pink. All three jigs did great. Now the hard part is cleaning the 20lbs of squid we have in the bucket.
