Headed out from Shilshole around 7:00 and dropped the DRs down to 40' and 50' (flasher and hootchies). Trolled around for awhile and released a few shakers before getting our first legit strike of the day at 40'. After a bit of chaos we managed to lose the fish when it wrapped itself around the leg of the engine. Within 45 minutes we boated 2 fish, both hooked at 50'. Another half hour with one missed strike and then....bam....bam, both rods go off and its a double header. After another bit of chaos we net the first fish and as soon as it hit the deck the net was back out for the next fish. Fortunately the 2nd fish was an 11 pounder and took a little extra time to bring in. All in all and excellent morning on the water.
