Another weekend of crabbing. Went out Friday evening and dropped 2 crab pots. Pulled them up about an hour later. Pot number 1 had 2 keepers in it. Pot number 2 had at least nine keepers in it (big enough that I did not even need a gauge). Since there was 2 of us, kep the 10 biggest ones and headed back in.
Saturday, went back out, but did not do as well. Only managed 4 crabs in about 3 or 4 hours. Tried a little trolling for salmon, but besides hooking 1 shaker, there was nothing else to report. I stayed in close to my pots and did not really see much fish in the area. Maybe they're around - but I did not see many. Hopefully someone that did well fishing will post.
