I’ve been trying for the last 3 days after work, but all that I’ve been hooking is shakers.
It’s a little frustrating, but on the plus side, these little guys will grow up to be big fish someday.
Spoke to a guy at the marina, and he’s been having better luck – six guys on the boat and maxing out almost every time. He did say that they have been fishing all day (6 to 8 hours), Also he’s been fishing a different spot, more to the north than I. My plan right now is to dedicate all of Saturday to fishing his spot, and see what happens.
His setup was green HotSpot flasher with a green squid.
My current setup is a Green/Silver HotSpot flasher with a green 3.5” coyote spoon.
