hey pretty cool!! I use white, crome, that ultra haze what ever flasher. glow sqid. or green splatter back. with herring chuck..
there fish out there.. my other bud is picking fish up every day they go out. He likes to drag the bottom.. I stay away from the crowds. Its tough to ziz zag through all the area 11 hotspots where everyones piled up... I wont do it..... My boat gets pushed around by the wind and the tide and is tough to be at the clay bank with the crowds some of the guys out there acked like kids and i wonder if there boat has steering on it?? I fish everything but that area. Pt evens, salmon beach, piner, colvos in side by girlscout camp. browns point, dash point,, the flats between defaince and delco, quartermaster harbor.. Im all about having a good time. Im not in competition with anyone... If theres a crowd I leave and go somewhere else... It was a nice welcome back after the Neah bay trip this week..

woops speed, how about not silver trolling seed.. 1mph to 2.5.. keep it down.. depends on how hard the tide pushing me. If you have 200 ft down on the downrigger and your cable is 60 degrees or angled out quite aways the speed is to fast. sometimes whats happening on top with the boat speed isnt the same as what is down deep.. I like to keep it at a slight angle and sometimes alittle speed doesnt hurt if you can get it all working together at the same time.. My favorite depth is 55 to 90 feet. with 150 to 100 foot deep to the bottom.. Thats easy fishing. But I have sweet memories of dragging the bottom. I go there if i cant get no action mid depth. I always leave a rod in the 50 to 90 zone for insurance.. More friends on the boat the better..
