Got on the water after 8 am. tried several locations and depths just off the jetty, 200 to 380 foot depth. Second location yeilded my only halibut of the day. My fishing buddy caught a couple of pacific cod, one average sized and one monster 30" fatty. Ran up the coast for lings and managed a couple of too smalls before the weather turned really ugly. Rained almost all day, wind picked up and caused rough seas and whitecaps, so we called it a day around 3 pm. Long slow trip back to the launch and a long trip home, still made for a good day on the water, just wish we coulda had one more halibut, but between saturdays and sundays catches I got 40+ lbs. of halibut, and another 15 lbs of cod and rockfish. Yumm.....
