Started out about 1130. Saw about a dozen other boats on the water.
Water temp 52. Still a little cold I think. I threw every thing at
them with no results. I did see a couple of boats huddling around the beach on the
park side just south of the public beach. So I went and checked it out.
Funny thing, there is a big hole there, drops to about 30 feet 20 feet from
shore. I did see one guy catch a couple of small ones just in a couple of
minutes. I did see some surface activity too.
All in all pretty slow. It was nice to get on the water after giving the
motor a tune up and the boat a bath. We need a couple of sunny days to
bring the water temps up a little.
