A couple of buddies invited me to chase chum in the south sound. We launched out of Boston Harbor at noon and headed up Hammersley Inlet. We checked out every hole from from Boston Harbor to Shelton Creek. The only place we saw any fish was Mill Creek. Not many though; four or five rolls. About five boats came and went. No action.
We left around 3 pm, but not before pulling the four crab pots we left soaking off of Boston Harbor. We were using some surf perch remains I caught a couple weekends ago. No dungies (as expected); pulled up about 25 red rocks though. We kept 11 big ones.
