7/14/2014 10:09:00 AMThats right , and keep in mind bottom fishing is prohibited in more than 120 feet of water. I fish for flounder when I go crabbing in about 50-80 feet and allways get my limit within an hour. Chiken, pork or beef works best.
When crabbing stay close to pots, last time some a-holes cleaned out my pots, have seen it with my own eyes. The were on a newer model black 20' aluminum fishing boat, bringing my 30-06 next time :)

7/14/2014 11:41:00 AMBrought the rock fish up SLOW as to not harm the fish. Thanks gohawks I will remember that. Never had that happen to us before but this happened to my Aunt last summer in the San Juans.
