figured I try for one last time before the closure in a few days. released an undersized blackmouth which would've made a nice trout if I were lake fishing. started at the claybanks trolling the 742 hootchie with a flasher. the dolphin hung around for awhile, noticed he has another fresh nick from a prop probably. marked lots of bait down deep. trolled out to the flats with no luck and back to the clay banks and the bait was gone. had one other hit out in front of owen beach. it was a nice sunny day to be out. even though no keepers it was still more enjoyable then a long line at a lake boat ramp. saw the police boat with a warden with them checking boats, they ignored me again.
