Only a few boats in the area today, not like last Wednesday when there were over 25 boats. The skies were clear but way windier than the forecast had indicated so we were fighting the wind all day. Took my buddy out about 7:30 and gave up about 1PM. We alternated between Herring plug cut and Squid Hoochies. He brought in 4 shakers, one big enough to keep. I landed one nice 4 lb silver on herring and lost another good one that hit on the hoochie. I'm still bullish on Shilshole as long as I can keep putting at least one good fish in the boat. I'm liking how these Wigglefin Action Discs enhance the performance of the hoochies.
