Fished at the Carbon River, thanks to Toni for directions to where to go. The river was a little high but clear and greenish color, visible around 5-6 feet. Did not see any fish or catch any. I was the only angler there. You needed a hip boot or waders to cross the little stream to get to the main river. I'm wondering Toni if you have had any good luck in the past at the Carbon?

2007 for salmon. Go up to read river reports on this site, find the Carbon, and see. I caught pinks, silvers, and 1 steelhead. The river since the floods has changed so it will be new to anyone who fishes it.

I just got done reading your old reports on the Carbon, some were hilarious. The one about sneaking behind the fish once your line broke and your first steelhead catch was great. So I just have to be patient and just keep trying, it seems alot of people are going through the same experience as me, catching branches and rocks and basically coming out with NOTHING, that is normal. I like to thank STAMPIE for his good advice from PM, now that's a good fisherman helping out a newbie. No Jens I am not telling you what he told me. LOL.
